Kevin Love attacks the strike zone like a Wolf

NBA All-Star and 2012 Olympic gold medal winner Kevin Love threw out the ceremonial first pitch at Target Field on Wednesday. The Timberwolves forward, who plies his trade across the street from Target Field at Target Center, avoided embarrassing himself and becoming "a YouTube sensation" as he put it. Still, his competitive streak was on display as he was displeased with himself for failing to throw a strike.

But if you're looking for intersport competition from Love, you certainly won't find any -- he struck a harmonious tone in an interview, saying that, especially after his Olympic experience, he has "the utmost respect for each and every sport."
