Where does MLB superhero Kevin Pillar rank his fellow heroes?
Check out MLB hero Kevin Pillar's superhero rankings
Kevin Pillar is a legitimate MLB superhero. And, as required by the superheroes union, he has opinions on superhero-related matters.
Seriously, if his flying catches don't convince you of his powers, he basically admitted possessing Spidey Sense to MLB.com's Gregor Chisolm: "I kind of felt like I knew where the ball was going to go before it did." He even has a name for his powers:
@ihidalgo07 is autocatch a super power?!? #HeartandHustle -@KPILLAR4 #Pillartakeover
- MLB (@MLB) August 7, 2015
(Don't let the question marks fool you -- this was not a question.)
And he broke down how exactly they work:
@TeamLG3 Only for a very very short period of time. -@KPILLAR4 #Pillartakeover
- MLB (@MLB) August 7, 2015
Also, superhero job security is apparently a concern of Pillar's:
@Bmackinnon31 @KPILLAR4 If I teach you how to fly, then you might take my job! -@KPILLAR4 #Pillartakeover
- MLB (@MLB) August 7, 2015
But most importantly, Pillar has opinions on just which of his superhero brethren are the most impressive.
"Whaaat?" you might be saying. "Captain America ranked first by an outfielder for MLB's lone Canadian team?" Well, Pillar was born in California, so it makes sense he would have an allegiance to his birthplace. And, as for that Batman/Superman ranking -- guess we have our answer to next year's movie.
