If Kris Bryant didn't feel like a big leaguer before Independence Day, he certainly did after. The Cubs rookie third baseman must have thought the game at Wrigley Field was B.Y.O. fireworks because he got to work early, launching a first-inning homer into the stands:

The only thing that could have possibly made Bryant's performance and the 7-2 Cubs win any sweeter was if they had been set to "America, the Beautiful" by Ray Charles. Happy Fourth of July, people. Hug your loved ones and eat a hot dog or five.
