Larry Walker bowls a perfect game, is a Canadian hero
We've been lucky enough to witness six perfect games in the last five Major League seasons, but the pitching perfecto remains an extremely rare feat -- only 23 have happened in MLB history. Perfect games in bowling -- that's 12 strikes, for a score of 300 -- are also incredible accomplishments, though a bit more common.
Former NL MVP Larry Walker was playing first base for the Expos when teammate Dennis Martinez pitched his perfect game in 1991. And now, Walker can add a bowling perfect game to his resume as well:
I must share with all. Bowl in a league and tonight got my first perfect game!! 300! Never thought possible. #baskinginmyglory
