Desperate for a win in Game 3 of the ALDS, the Blue Jays got some help from Lil B
Lil B blessed the Blue Jays before Game 3 win

When last the baseball world heard from Lil B -- inspirational tweeter, purveyor of cooking dances and general athletic deity -- he was sparing a grateful Braves team from his Based God wrath back in July. In the months since, the rapper has turned his attention elsewhere in the sports world, leading the Texas Longhorns to a win over Oklahoma just last weekend.
But with his hometown team facing a 2-0 deficit in the ALDS on Sunday, Toronto Councilman Norm Kelly knew there was only one man who could help turn the tide. It was time to kneel at the altar of the Based God:
Dear @LILBTHEBASEDGOD, Can you please silence the haters and bless the @BlueJays ahead of tonight's game? Your friend, Norm
- Norm Kelly (@norm) October 11, 2015Never one to turn his back on a faithful follower, Lil B responded, opening his arms to embrace not just a man, not just a team, but an entire nation:
@norm @BlueJays hey norm your request is granted and remember I love you and Canada! That's number one! - Lil B
- Lil B THE BASEDGOD (@LILBTHEBASEDGOD) October 11, 2015Just a few hours later, the Blue Jays earned a 5-1 win to keep their season alive. And while plenty of credit is due to Troy Tulowitzki for his big three-run homer and Marco Estrada for his 6 1/3 innings of one-run ball, Kelly knew that thanks must be given to the man who made it all possible:
- Norm Kelly (@norm) October 11, 2015Thank you Based God, indeed, for giving us even more postseason baseball to enjoy.
