Lucas Duda, although standing at a monstrous 6-foot-4 and 255 pounds, is a gentle soul. Curtis Granderson has been documenting that fact throughout the 2015 season. Even before he took batting practice for Game 1 of the NLDS at Dodger Stadium on Friday, he gave a friendly thumbs up to the crowd -- relaying to the city of Los Angeles that he comes in peace:

But perhaps it was all a show, as the Mets first baseman proceeded to destroy a part of the stadium (and possibly an entire TV network) with one of his home runs:

And if not for the sign, it looks as if the ball may well have traveled completely out of the ballpark:

So yes, go ahead and follow Lucas Duda, but not too closely ...
