Major Leaguers sound off on controversial Packers-Seahawks ending

Every sports fan has an opinion on the the controversial finish to Monday's Packers-Seahawks game at CenturyLink Field, and MLB players are no exception. Here's a little taste of what Twitter had to offer ...
Even before the final ruling came down, Brandon McCarthy smelled trouble brewing:
If anything at least these refs have earned our trust to sort through a situation like this.

Trevor Crowe, who knows what a catch looks like, contemplated a job change:
Should have been an NFL cornerback...

But not everyone was up in arms. Fans of the Seahawks, Golden Tate and general chaos had plenty to celebrate:
Replacements referees!!! I love it. Golden Tate is great! #rhymes #ND #footlockerofficials

I see my boy Golden representing Seatown and hauling that one in for the victory! Well done!

Like in many times of crisis, humor was a prevailing theme:
Those replacement refs must've really hated the 'discount double check' commercial.

BREAKING:Ed Hochuli says he will walk the picket line until they let him ref games shirtless or until Goodell agrees 2 push up contest @nfl
— Geoff Blum (@blummer27) September 25, 2012
Russell Wilson is the first QB in the history of the NFL to throw a game winning interception
— Jordan Schafer (@JordanSchafer) September 25, 2012
While others called for vengeance (or at least lighter wallets):
So who is going to tweet roger goodell's phone number for all the packer share holdersjQuery152013891225564293563_1348594473547? #disgrace #NFL
— Chris Narveson (@sleep_trick) September 25, 2012
The NFL may be able to afford to pay their referees after getting millions of $ in fines from complaining players tonight.

And then there was Mike Olt. Let's just say he's in the minority on this one:
Hate to say it but I think those refs made the right call #goodwork
