Mariners rookie Munenori Kawasaki has mastered the art of the fake steal

He's going. Oh no wait, he's not going. OK, he's going. He's backpedaling? Is he dancing (again)?

No one was exactly sure what Mariners shortstop Munenori Kawasaki was doing between first and second on Sunday afternoon. But the running in place seemed to distract Yankees starter Freddy Garcia. Although Kawasaki looked very serious in his baserunning "strategies," the Mariners announcers (and Derek Jeter) couldn't help but laugh.
