What's the reason for that congratulatory scene? A grand slam? The completion of a cycle? A national anthem where the singer really, and I mean REALLY, nailed and sustained that high note on "freeeeeee"?

Nope -- it was for an infield single. More specifically, the infield single that snapped Justin Ruggiano's 0-for-42 streak. The outfielder's run was the longest in the Majors this season and was quickly approaching Eugenio Velez's record 0-for-46 streak from 2010-11.

Unfortunately, Ruggiano's teammates didn't have long to celebrate his time on the basepaths -- he was promptly thrown out trying to steal second.
