Marlins Park was the last stop on the Long Haul Bombers' softball-launching tour

After making stops at 11 other Major League stadiums over the course of the summer, the Long Haul Bombers made their final appearance of 2012 at Marlins Park on Sunday.

The Bombers, a crew of slow-pitch softball hitters who specialize in very long home runs, competed at each park in home run derby-type contest. Ohio native Kevin Filby -- who said he practices his hitting every day and has cracked a few over 500 feet -- was the victor in the series' last competition of 2012.
