If nothing else, Arrested Development taught us that breakfast family is the most important thing. With that in mind, the Miami Marlins and Tampa Bay Rays teamed up with the better halves of the players on both teams for an annual softball game played for charity and pride and bragging rights (but mostly the charity part).
Last year's edition of the Wives Citrus Cup Classic saw the Rays squeak out a hard-fought 13-12 victory in spite of two home runs off the bat of Tom Koehler's wife, Ashley. Koehler opted out of this year's contest because she's pregnant, but the rest of the Marlins wives came through, pulling out a 10-9 victory, all in an effort to support the worthwhile work from the folks involed with the Marlins RBI program and Autism Speaks.
