Carpenter gets golf cart after hitting 20th homer

Matt Carpenter hit his 20th home run of the season at the end of August. It was the first time the Cardinals third baseman had reached that mark in his career. To honor the momentous occasion, Adam Wainwright decided to get Carpenter something with TCU on it (Carp's alma mater). While most people might get a sweatshirt or hat or keychain, Wainwright decided to gift his teammate a golf cart:

As you can see, Waino also noted his heroic tendencies on the side of the vehicle. But more importantly, what does all of this mean? Is Carpenter moving to a retirement community in Naples, Fla.?
