Matt Kemp celebrates Cinco de Mayo by dancing
While you were out celebrating Cinco de Mayo by drinking a margarita and having a burrito plate at your local Mexican restaurant, baseball players were out, you know, playing baseball. Fortunately for Matt Kemp and the Padres, they got a little taste of the holiday when a Mariachi band played before their game in San Francisco. Kemp made sure to show his appreciation.
Sure, it's not the greatest of dances and some would call it zombie-like shambling, but we're not here to judge a dance competition.
After all, the outfielder also enjoyed the music the way my Dad does when he hears Steely Dan on the radio.
"Yeah, yeaaaaah. Feel that groove. Feel that rhythm."
But Kemp wasn't the only person to get into the spirit. Just look how festive Mariners manager Lloyd McClendon was:
I mean, compared to this, McClendon is downright beaming.
