Meet the Krispy Kreme Donut Dog, the new ballpark creation from the Wilmington Blue Rocks

Last week, the Internet was brought to a gluttonous halt when the Diamondbacks unveiled the Churro Dog: A churro in a glazed-donut bun, topped with frozen yogurt, chocolate and caramel sauces. Well, the Wilmington Blue Rocks, Class A affiliate of the Royals, saw the Churro Dog and raised the baseball world one Krispy Kreme donut hot dog.

That, in case your eyes have glazed over with desire, is a hot dog topped with raspberry jam, sprinkled with bacon and nestled inside a Krispy Kreme donut.

Brian Radle, the Blue Rocks' Director of Advertising Sales, put it best: "Krispy Kreme doughnuts and ballpark hotdogs are two of America's favorite treats, so why not combine them?"

This Frankenstein creation is yet unnamed (Krispy Kreme Donut Dog is tentative), so if you have any suggestions, feel free to let the Blue Rocks know.
