Entering an off-day on Thursday, the Mets had a fairly comfortable 7 1/2-game lead over the Nationals in the NL East. But still no lead is ever completely safe. And to make sure it didn't shrink any smaller, the team's Twitter account was actively watching and cheering on the Marlins' 6-4 win over the Nats. They liked the result so much that they favorited a few tweets announcing the final score -- thinking Miami wouldn't notice. C'mon, Mets, nothing is safe on Twitter:
