Micah Andrews completes unbelievable comeback story with first pitch

When it comes to throwing out the ceremonial first pitch, some honorees are celebrities, some are heroes and others may be longtime fans.

On Tuesday at Chase Field, the distinction was reserved for a young child who nearly lost his life only two years ago.

Micah Andrews suffered a life-threatening spinal cord injury in a car accident when he was two years old. Dr. Nicholas Theodore performed the highly complex surgery that not only saved Micah's life, but led him to an incredible recovery.

Together, the duo threw out a memorable first pitch at Chase Field on Tuesday.
