Cespedes error leads to Little League grand slam
The Baseball Gods can be cruel sometimes. They can unleash their wrath on prospective basestealers, would-be base hits, even unsuspecting fans. But they are not totally unmoved by our plight -- make the proper sacrifices, swing wildly at a pitch at your head, and you will surely be rewarded.
Baseball must have worshipped extra hard recently or something, because our cup runneth over. Just a few days ago, Xander Bogaerts swam/slid his way to a Little League grand slam, and during Tuesday's Mets-Nationals game, we were gifted with another one when Yoenis Cespedes ran right past a Michael Taylor single:

But because this is his world and we're all just living in it, Yo would make up for it in due time -- he lined a three-run double down the line in the Mets' six-run seventh inning, and New York went on to win, 8-7.
