On Mike Piazza's birthday, let's watch him blast a ball out of Dodger Stadium

Mike Piazza turned 45 on Wednesday. The 12-time All-Star, known especially for his time with the Mets and Dodgers, recorded a .308/.377/.545 career slash line along with a catcher-record 427 homers. Piazza had some memorable moments throughout his 16 years, including this post-9/11 long ball and a '96 All-Star Game MVP.

But one of his most eye-opening performances had to be the time he blasted a ball clear out of Dodger Stadium in 1997. Only two others have ever accomplished the feat: Willie Stargell (twice) and Mark McGwire.

Piazza will be inducted into the Mets Hall of Fame later this month, and while we send congratulations his way, we also hope (REALLY HOPE) he returns to Queens sporting that magical mustache. Happy Birthday, Mike.
