MLB has six nominees in the Hall of Game Awards

The Cartoon Network's Hall of Game Awards will hold their third annual show in February, and MLB has six nominees in the mix. The nominees, and the categories they're competing in, are as follows:

• Lou Seal, Giants: "Most Awesome Mascot"
• Jonny Gomes, Red Sox: "That's How I Roll"
• Miguel Cabrera, Tigers: "He Got Game"
• Mike Trout, Angels: "Gnarliest Newcomer"
• Giants: "We Got Game"
• Giants-Dodgers: "Best Foes Forever"

MLB players/teams/mascots/fans have been nominated 17 times but have won only once: The Yankees-Red Sox rivalry won "Best Foes Forever" in 2011. If you want to help baseball improve its showing this year, you can vote here.
