Listen to a psychic predict the postseason fortunes of your favorite MLB stars

Psychic predicts MLB stars' postseason fortunes

The postseason is, as a rule, exceptionally unpredictable. Just look at the Royals' unexpected run to the World Series a year ago. No one knows which teams will make it through, which players will cement themselves in postseason lore or how many hot dogs will be consumed. But what if we had an idea of how things might go? Or at least got a general sense of how the postseason's top players will perform? That'd be a coup, right?

Well, we can't predict what will happen exactly this October, but we talked to long-time New York City psychic Fahrusha to get a read on a few of the MLB stars bound for the postseason. Though she doesn't follow the sport -- "I've been to maybe two or three baseball games in my life … but I know nothing about baseball" -- she gave what she called "intuitive readings" on a few players based solely on their photos.

So, watch the video above if you want to know which player Fahrusha thinks has to work on visualization, why Clayton Kershaw grew his beard and the two players who will face make-or-break plays this postseason. And if you're skeptical, just check out a few of her readings below:

David Price:

He looks very happy, doesn't he? I think that he can do rather well, but he has to look out for issues of overconfidence.

Alex Rodriguez:

"I think he's a very strong athlete as well, I think he's a wonderful guy. I think that he is considering retirement, though. How will he do in the playoffs? I think he will do his job well."

David Wright:

"Wow, he's a very good looking guy, isn't he? Like movie-star good looking. That's a possibility for him -- I really see him as a future media person. I think he's going to make a very big play in one of the first games."

Clayton Kershaw:

"I think that's why he grew his beard, because he might have a babyface otherwise. … I think that he has more stamina than some of the other pitchers, but his performance may be jagged."
