On Mo Vaughn's birthday, let's watch him mash home runs, tackle George Bell

We honor Mo Vaughn's birthday with some massive HRs

If you grew up watching baseball in the early-to-mid-'90s, you probably remember the massive power of Maurice Samuel Vaughn.

With his big build and menacing, dare-you-to-come-inside stance, Big Mo was one of the most feared hitters in the game. From 1993-98, the Red Sox first baseman put up a .315/.405/.569 slash line. He made the AL All-Star team three times and won an MVP award in '95. He also hit 213 home runs and tallied 663 RBIs.

And those home runs? Majestic:

Even after leaving Boston and enduring injuries on both the Angels and Mets, Mo continued to delight fans and announcers alike:

Oh, and that power also came in handy elsewhere on the diamond:

MO

Happy 48th, Mo!
