What if Mookie Betts is training for the World Series of Bowling with the Big Lebowski?
Photos: Mookie Betts hanging out with Big Lebowski
Along with being a great baseball player, Mookie Betts is an exceptional bowler (I know, it's really unfair). The outfielder averages a 200-plus score, has been perfect at least a couple of times in his life and on Dec. 7, he'll participate in the World Series of Bowling in Reno, Nev.
How does one prepare for such an event where the entire bowling world will be watching and preying on every roll? We'd suggest training with some of the best pros in the world. Namely, Donny, Walter and The Dude Lebowski.
Luckily, we were able to get some exclusive photos from Betts' days in the alley the past few weeks. Check 'em out below.
Looks intense.
Hydration is key.
Talking strategy.
Oh and some nice group bonding.
There's no doubt in our minds that through this rigorous training program, Betts will win the World Series of Bowling and, quite possibly, carry over some of these life skills to win a World Series for Boston in 2016. And if you don't agree with us then, well, you know, that's just like your opinion, man.
