The Mountain from 'Game of Thrones' took BP with the Phillies, manhandled the Phanatic
The Mountain from 'Game of Thrones' at Phillies BP
On Friday afternoon, Hafthór Júlíus Björnsson joined the Phillies for batting practice. Not quite sure who that handful of consonants is? You may know him better as Gregor Clegane, aka, the Mountain:

Yes, ex-Maester Qyburn's experiments apparently worked, not only fully reviving Westeros' most imposing warrior, but turning him into a baseball fan as well. Here he is at Citizens Bank Park, after kindly picking up what appear to be some loose matchsticks:

Björnsson is 6'9", or 1.25 Altuves. But if you need a visualization, here's Ben Revere to provide some scale:
Still not comprehending his true size? Jeff Francoeur tried to give him a hand up after stretches, but was instead pulled into his gravitational field, like a tiny moon drawn to an enormous planet:

- Phillies (@Phillies) May 15, 2015Speaking of moons, it looks like Björnsson's about to hit one. Jupiter's, probably:

Since he's kind of impossible to miss, the Phillies' Friday opponent soon caught wind of what was going on at CBP:
.@Phillies We're going to play THAT?
- #VoteDbacks (@Dbacks) May 15, 2015So Philadelphia offered some options:
.@Dbacks Instead of baseball tonight, trial by combat?
- Phillies (@Phillies) May 15, 2015Champions were discussed:

- #VoteDbacks (@Dbacks) May 15, 2015But, as the "Game of Thrones" watchers among us know, snake nicknames don't tend to fare particularly well against The Mountain.
Other creatures, however? They seem to do just fine:

The Mountain and the Phanatic, best friends forever:

Isn't that right?
