Munenori Kawasaki celebrates Kevin Pillar's RBI double with dugout hand jive
Muni Kawasaki hand jives after Pillar RBI double
The Blue Jays may have lost Game 1 of the ALDS to Yovani Gallardo and the Rangers, but it certainly wasn't for lack of enthusiasm.
With Russell Martin on third and the Jays trailing, 4-1, in the bottom of the fifth, center fielder Kevin Pillar poked a hard-hit RBI double into the right-center-field gap. Delino DeShields cut it off promptly, but Pillar slid into second ahead of the throw and came up celebrating:
Back in the dugout, Munenori Kawasaki followed his teammate's lead and broke out into a full-on hand jive:
Born to hand-jive, baby. Born to hand-jive, baby.
Muni and Co. will look to carry that energy into Game 2 of the series on Friday at 12:30 p.m. ET on MLB Network and Sportsnet.
