Not satisfied with hitting a home run, Stephen Vogt had to go camera-hunting too

Vogt plunks outfield camera with home run

Sure, chicks may dig the long ball, but you can have your mammoth blasts, your physics-defying moonshots. Stephen Vogt cares nothing for that sort of brutishness. His is a game of precision. After all, they all count for one if they get over the wall so you might as well have some fun with it.

Vogt certainly had some fun with his home run against the Red Sox on Tuesday, where he was either 1) playing a bizarre game of baseball H-O-R-S-E in which both teams try to pull off increasingly audacious trick shots or 2) just making sure the right-field cameraman at the Coliseum was paying attention:

The camera guy is somehow totally unfazed, so if this was in fact part of the 2015 Stephen Vogt Emergency Preparedness Kit, he either passed with flying colors by sticking it out ... or failed miserably by refusing to get out of the way. Somehow, the only thing he managed to shift was the camera slightly to the right -- presumably to get a better angle of the outfielder, because why would you worry about that hard sphere coming directly at you?
