Nothing, including bat weights, can stop Yoenis Cespedes from cracking homers
Yoenis Cespedes is a very strong man. How strong? According to CSN Bay Area:
"He told me today he was going to hit a home run off of me with the donut on the bat," [A's manager Bob] Melvin said. "That's what he did."
For those that don't know, a donut is a round weight that slips over a bat's barrel, adding extra resistance for swing practice. It's not meant to be used during live BP. But Cespedes lived up to his bold claim, and there's video evidence to prove it.
