Omar Vizquel says goodbye to baseball with a ceremonial first pitch

Omar Vizquel has been playing Major League Baseball since his 1989 season with the Seattle Mariners. Eleven Gold Glove Awards later, the shortstop is finally hanging up his cleats.

The Blue Jays honored Vizquel on Wednesday with the ceremonial first pitch before their game against Minnesota. But Vizquel wasn't going to retire quietly. In his final at bat of his career, Vizquel lined a single to center field.

Not a bad way to go out.
