Remembering actor Bob Hoskins and his pitching performance as 'Smee'

Bob Hoskins passed away at the age of 71 on Tuesday. The British actor appeared in more than 60 films during his 40-year career, earning an Oscar nomination for 1986's Mona Lisa, playing J. Edgar Hoover in Nixon and turning in a legendary performance alongside a rabbit in this cartoonish classic.

But let's not forget Mr. Hoskins' iconic portrayal of Smee in Steven Spielberg's 1991 classic, Hook. The pirate/pitcher's "too-da-loo-da-loo'n" delivery might not be technically legal in MLB, but the rules of toeing the rubber - and holding on baserunners - are a little laxer on the high seas:

Excellent form, sir.
