It's time to outfit yourself in the World Series gear that the pros are wearing

The World Series gear that the pros are wearing

There are no World Series guarantees. The Royals went 29 years without one. Before the Giants started a run of three World Series trips in five years in 2010, they had only gone to two since 1954. You can spend your entire life waiting for a World Series that never comes, so when your team does make it, you'd better savor it.

For Royals and Giants fans, it's time to stock up and tell your boss, "Yes, I understand that you want me in a black suit for this very important deposition, but do you really expect me not to wear my Royals' OKCtober sweatshirt?" or "As a surgeon, I usually wear scrubs and one of those flimsy surgeon's cap thingies, but for the rest of the month I'll be sporting my Orange October tee and my Giants' 59FIFTY cap with the official World Series patch on the side."

On Monday, the clubhouses were filled with World Series gear and the players and coaches really embraced it.

Said speedster Jarrod Dyson, seen sporting the Pom Puff knit cap:

"It means a lot to be able to wear this in October. And [to still be] wearing it right now? Going to the World Series? Man, I need to collect more of this gear right now. Who knows if I'll have it on again ever again? You never know in this career, so you have to take advantage of where you're at right now in your lifetime."

While on the field, Pablo Sandoval did a little modeling:
