Ozzie Smith gets nostalgic about the ’82 World Series

It's been a who's who of baseball icons at Busch Stadium this weekend as the Cardinals celebrated the 30th anniversary of the '82 World Championship club.

A pre-game parade on Saturday night featured some of the most significant players from the '82 team: Keith Hernandez, Bruce Sutter and Whitey Herzog, and fan favorites like Tito Landrum, John Stuper and Glenn Brummer. Fittingly, this weekend's opponent is none other than the Milwaukee Brewers, the club that St. Louis defeated in the seven-game classic. Both clubs wore retro uniforms from the era.

The biggest applause from the crowd was bestowed upon Hall of Famer Ozzie Smith, who quickly became a fan favorite in 1982 during his first season in the Gateway City. Here, "The Wizard" talks about that magical '82 campaign that gave the Cardinals their 9th World Championship.
