Pablo Sandoval goes over the railing and into Pirates' dugout for incredible Wild Card catch
With a .325 average and six home runs in 22 postseason games, it's usually Pablo Sandoval's bat that has people talking in October. But after Wednesday night's NL Wild Card game against the Pirates, it's Panda's defense that left Giants fans speechless.
Sure, Sandoval did his thing at the dish, going 2-for-4 with a walk and two runs scored, but his seventh-inning grab was the real highlight. Pirates catcher Russell Martin skied a ball way up into the foul territory near - well, actually, in -- the third base dugout.
... Panda followed.
The Giants won comfortably thanks to a gem from Madison Bumgarner and a clutch grand slam from shortstop Brandon Crawford. Sandoval and Co. will take their bats (and gloves) to D.C. to take on the NL-best Nationals in the Division Series.
