Phillie Phanatic gets down with Spice Girls and Vanilla Ice during totally phat '90s Night

The Phillies hosted a 1990s Retro Night at Citizens Bank Park on Wednesday, and it was a doozy. The Phillie Phanatic falling instantly in love, and then dancing, with the Spice Girls (or at least five women that somewhat resembled them) was really just the tip of James Cameron's iceberg.

Philadelphia's mascot also witnessed a similarly dubious Vanilla Ice (along with his sidekicks Italian Ice and DJ Sorbet, who are apparently only known to serious '90s buffs). That trio learned the Phanatic's true opinion of them by tasting the watery justice of his Super Soaker.

Other rad '90s happenings included Philadelphia wearing its maroon uniforms from the early part of the decade and appearances by all manner of '90s personages, both real and costumed. And although the Phillies were playing the Reds, no, Scott Rolen did not rejoin Philadelphia for the game.
