Phillies outfielder Odubel Herrera's first career MLB hit is a walk-off double

Phils outfielder's first MLB hit is a walk-off double

Odubel Herrera finally got a taste of big league success (and shaving cream) on Saturday night. The infielder-turned-outfielder was selected by the Phillies in last year's Rule 5 Draft and has been patrolling center field at Citzens Bank Park with Ben Revere moved over to left.

Herrera started his rookie season by going 0-for-9 at the plate before stepping into the batter's box with the score tied in the bottom of the 10th inning against the Nationals. With Carlos Ruiz on second (after tagging up from first), Herrera doubled down the right-field line for his first MLB hit.

We're fairly certain that shaving cream has never tasted so good.
