Help name the Cincinnati Zoo's new baby giraffe 'Ken Giraffey Jr.'

The Cincinnati Zoo got a little more crowded following the birth of a newborn baby giraffe on Monday. The zoo is currently asking for ideas on their Facebook page to help name this adorable, long-necked creature. Naturally, we suggest Ken Giraffey Jr.

If for some reason you need some prodding to join in this epic fight to name a baby giraffe after a baseball player (there's even a precedent for this happening) here are five reasons why that's the perfect moniker:

1. They're both from Cincinnati.

2. They both look really good in turtlenecks.

3. And backward hats.

4. They're both really good at baseball.

5. It's Ken Griffey Jr. for cripes sake.

The Zoo is only accepting suggestions until May 1st, so get on over there and stuff that inbox. And if for some reason you choose not to vote for Ken Giraffey Jr, we'll also accept Chris Sabo. Because goggles are the best.
