13 photos of Nelson Cruz being the best at dugout celebrations
13 photos of Nelson Cruz celebrating in the dugout

Few MLB players have perfected the dugout celebration like Nelson Cruz. True, he's had a lot of practice: After leading the league in home runs in 2014, he's flirted with the dinger title all year and currently sits one behind Chris Davis. That means he's spent a lot of time running around the bases and into the dugout to be embraced by his teammates. As a result, he's gotten very, very good at spreading pure joy.
So, we compiled a photographic ode to Cruz's dugout celebrations this season. Cherish them:
The key to any good dugout celebration is palpable emotion ...

... and Cruz is just so good at looking so happy:

Almost disconcertingly so:

Cruz has the kind of talent that makes his teammates and coaches want to celebrate as soon as possible:

He's excellent at giving hugs, too:

And a lot of high fives:

A sometimes overwhelming number of high fives:

So many high fives that Cruz doesn't even have to look to hand them out:

He's developed a precognitive sense for when celebratory showers are headed his way:

But don't think he hogs all the celebrating for himself:

One time, he got Felix Hernandez to celebrate for him:

In short, Cruz is one of MLB's MVCs (Most Valuable Celebrators), and we have the photo evidence to prove it.
