Andrew McCutchen shows off more MLB impressions with Griffey, Pedro Alvarez and others
Andrew McCutchen shows off new MLB impressions

While Andrew McCutchen is a pretty good baseball player, what with his blend of speed, power and defense, his greatest skill may be in performance art -- most notably, his baseball impressions. In the past, the Pirates All-Star has shown off Derek Jeter, Ken Griffey Jr., and Manny Ramirez, among others:

But Cutch, while revisiting the classics in Griffey and Albert Pujols, unveiled his newest options for ESPN before the Pirates took on the Dodgers on Sunday night. That included the likes of Pedro Alvarez's stoic home run swing and, as part of a contractual obligation for all Major Leaguers (apparently), his Tim Kurkjian impression. They're so spot on that, should Face Off-esque medical advances become a reality, other players should be worried about McCutchen stealing their identity.

Of course, after McCutchen hit a massive two-run home run to center field on Sunday night for his 17th on the season, plenty of other fans and players started working on their impression of his swing, too. Including one intrepid young fan who attemped to will his favorite player to hit another dinger in the bottom of the eighth inning of the Pirates' 13-6 win.

Didn't work out so well this time, unfortunately.
