Polito Vega throws first pitch at Citi

The "King of Radio," Polito Vega, threw out the ceremonial first pitch Saturday at Citi Field before the Mets took on the Marlins.

The Spanish radio icon has been on the air for over 50 years playing salsa and other Latin standards for New Yorkers. Vega will be participating in the Megaton concert featuring some of the biggest names in Latin music Sept. 30th at Citi Field. Along with Vega, up-and-coming artist Leslie Garcia sang the national anthem.
