Chinese Taipei batter unleashes enormous bat flip

Chinese Taipei dropped its Opening Round matchup against Canada in the 2015 WBSC Premier 12 tournament, 9-8. But as a consolation, right fielder Po-Jung Wang did this in the fifth inning:

batflip

The home run momentarily tied the game at 4 (before Canada scored three runs in the top of the sixth), but honestly -- how do you even define what Wang did with his bat? Was that a bat flip? A bat toss? A bat "let's see if I can round the bases before this lands?" The bat left his hands so quickly, it practically followed the ball out of the stadium.

Jose Bautista, purveyor of his own excellent bat flips, wrote this about the practice:

"Those moments are spontaneous. They're human. And they're a whole lot of fun."

Yep, that about sums it up. Wang agrees:
