Prepare to meet The Shredder, Red Sox fans

After signing with Boston over the offseason, Nick Punto will bring several assets to the Red Sox clubhouse: versatility, veteran leadership, solid defense ... and The Shredder.

As seen during the melee following David Freese's walk-off bomb in Game 6 of the World Series, Punto has made a habit of shredding teammates' jerseys after game-winning hits.

"I don’t know too much about it," Punto said. "Hopefully you’ll meet him this year, though. The Shredder comes out when good things happen."
