Prince Fielder thwarts pickoff attempt, laughs maniacally at Indians infielders

Prince Fielder thwarts pickoff attempt, laughs

Right now there's nothing Prince Fielder can't do. After torturing the Yankees in a weekend series to the tune of 8-for-14 with three home runs, a double, a walk and nine RBIs, Fielder and the Rangers traveled to Cleveland to set their sights on an Indians team that had won eight of their last 10 games.

Fielder kept on keeping on, launching a two-run homer to right-center field in his first at-bat (Adrian Beltre followed suit to go back-to-back).

He followed up that performance with a third-inning double to left-center field. Unable to stop Fielder, the Tribe decided that it should at least try to contain him, so Shaun Marcum tried to catch him napping with an oddly-timed pickoff attempt before addressing the next batter.

Fielder was hip to the sorcery, though, and managed to scramble back safely. He celebrated by pointing at the infielders and laughing manically:

No one is having more fun than Prince Fielder right now and it's not tough to see why.
