R-O-O ... K-I-E! What's that spell? First-year Red Sox cheer hard in Baltimore
At first glance, it looks like a few Major League teams will now feature cheerleaders during this wildly entertaining postseason push. But look closer -- or actually, don't.
The Red Sox got in on the rookie hazing trend during their final road trip of the season Sunday at Camden Yards. All 11 first-year Boston players wore red cheerleading outfits -- except for Will Middlebrooks, who was dressed as Dorothy from The Wizard of Oz. Middlebrooks and David Ortiz summed up their (and our) emotions in these two tweets:
