Many people will tell you that unicorns are figments of your imagination, that your room won't just clean up after itself, that magic doesn't exist. But go ahead and ask those same people how they'd explain R.A. Dickey's seven-strikeout, complete game, knuckleballin' victory over the Angels on Thursday night. 

Tell them to ask Matt Joyce where he thought this pitch was going to be and where it actually ended up.

Have them sit down with Collin Cowgill and figure out how quickly this ball dove out of his sightline.

Make sure they see how this pitch melted the brains of both David Freese and catcher Josh Thole.

According to MLB.com's Gregor Chisholm, even Dickey didn't want to reveal where his powers came from:

"A lot of it is about tempo and a lot of it is about stuff I don't want to talk about. Take from that what you want."
