Will Ferrell and Randy Johnson hung out before the Big Unit raised the Seahawks' '12th Man' flag

Big Unit raises '12th Man' flag for Seahawks

Will Ferrell and Randy Johnson have more in common that you might realize: They're both tall dudes from California, they're both actors (the Big Unit was in "Little Big League" and an episode of "Franklin & Bash"), they're both former D-backs and former Mariners ...the list goes on.

The Big Unit crossed paths with Ferrell yet again on Sunday when he stopped by CenturyLink Field in Seattle to hoist the "12th Man" flag before the Seahawks hosted the 49ers.

Johnson was on hand because he's a Mariners legend and the only thing more Seattle than a teal No. 51 jersey would be if John Olerud was a celebrity barista at a Pearl Jam concert. Ferrell was there because he's a USC alum who's tight with Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll from his days at the helm of the Trojans football team.

The unlikely duo hung out on the field with Seahawks owner Paul Allen before the Big Unit had to fulfill his honorary duties as flag-raiser:

All that was left to do was for Richard Sherman and the Legion of Boom to go out there and wallop the Niners for all to be well in Emerald City.
