Predict who will lead the league in home runs in 2015: Part II

Who will lead the league in home runs this season?

Back in May, we had you, our friendly neighborhood readers, attempt to predict the player who would finish the 2015 season with the most home runs. It turns out that this sort of thing is kind of hard to predict.

That's because there have been A LOT of dinger mashing between then and now. As of Sept. 7, Chris Davis has matched last year's leader Nelson Cruz, who is only one behind his 2014 total, and there's still a month to go. In fact, only three of the top 12 from May are in the top 10 now, four months later: Cruz, Bryce Harper and Mike Trout.

Since home runs keep getting mashed and the end of the season is in sight, it's time for another round of predictions. Strap on your brain hats and try to determine who will finish this season sitting atop the home run throne. Will Davis maintain his one-homer lead? Will Cruz overtake him? Will Jose Bautista come back from 10th in a blistering month of September?

Vote with the up and down arrows: Maybe it'll be easier to predict this time, but probably not.

All home run totals as of 9/7.
