Rays wives bring spin class to Tropicana Field, bike 68 miles in the outfield

On Sunday, July 27, Italy's Vincenzo Nibali won the 2014 Tour de France. A little less than a week later, the women who are married to professional baseball players on the Tampa Rays gave Nibali a run for his money, turning Tropicana Field into their own spin class for a worthy cause.

The Rays Wives group mounted stationary bikes strategically placed in The Porch section of Tropicana Field. As the Rays topped the Angels 10-3, the Rays Wives rode more than 68 miles to raise money for Smile Train, an international organization that provides free surgery for children with cleft lips and palates.

One of the bikes even donned a Wil Myers bicycle horn, which happens to be the giveaway for fans going to Sunday's Angels-Rays game. Honk if you're impressed.
