R.B.I. for Xbox One and PS4 is available now

It's. Here.
Finally, it's here. After a winter-long hiatus, R.B.I. Baseball is back with more '90s nostalgia to fill the baseball-sized holes in our hearts. And it's bringing new features with it. Additional gameplay settings, access to 40-man rosters and more tweaks and tune-ups make this the game you know and love, but with a few extra bells and whistles.
We know, we know ... we had you at "R.B.I. Baseball 15." Still, let's look at 10 of the scenarios and features that have us jazzed to fall off the grid and live in this game for a week or so.
Hold our calls.
New Season, New Look
One of the best parts of the new season is that everyone has a (long) shot at 162-0 and each roster is full of fresh faces, with Jimmy Rollins in Dodger blue, Max Scherzer sporting the curly "W," Matt Kemp and Co. repopulating the Padres' outfield. *Sniffs air* Yup, still got that new-car smell.
And not only will you be able to set the 25-man roster from your team's 40-man squad, but the rosters will update throughout the season. So, you'll be able to play with all your favorite players on the right team through every new signing and trade. It'll be like real life -- only better.
Be a hero
Imagine you're Travis Ishikawa stepping to the plate in a do-or-die situation. You've traveled throughout the league, spending more days than you want to count on uncomfortable buses tearing through the American countryside. With R.B.I. Baseball 15, now you can step in and crack one over the immaculately rendered brick wall in AT&T Park and send your team to the next round in the playoffs.
Even better, you can do it against friends and enemies using the new multiplayer and online modes.
The Quest for .400
Sure, it's been 74 years since a Major Leaguer maintained a .400 batting average for a full season and some pundits would have you believe it'll never happen again ... but that's because they didn't count on being able to control Jose Altuve or Troy Tulowitzki in R.B.I. Baseball 15. Using the new season-long stat tracking in this year's game, you can take aim at baseball history.
That Swimming Dolphin
Not only will you be able to play with Marlins stars Giancarlo Stanton and Christian Yelich, or new acquisition Dee Gordon, but with the game's updated stadium imagery, you'll be able to see every gorgeous feature and highlight of baseball's newest park.
Most importantly, it means that you can target art's greatest sculpture when at the plate: the dolphin home run monstrosity in left-center.
Anthony. Rizzo.
The R.B.I. Baseball 15 coverboy set career highs in average, home runs, hits and OPS+ in 2014 ... and did so while playing in 20 fewer games than the season before. If you're not pumped about trying to tear the cover off the ball with this guy, then there's no saving you now.
All Bryce Everything
Whether he's stealing home, running into walls for highlight reel catches, launching balls into the upper upper deck at Nationals Park or guaranteeing a Nats World Series run, Bryce Harper is one of the most exciting parts of baseball. It's time to take the reigns of his controlled chaos and dominate your friends in multiplayer mode.
The Fish God
Say what you want about Miguel Cabrera in 2012 and '13, but Mike Trout has been the best player in baseball over the last three seasons. Ninety-three home runs, 353 runs, 98 stolen bases, three All-Star appearances, three Silver Slugger Awards, an AL Rookie of the Year Award, an AL MVP Award. ... How much time ya got? And are you ready to take aim at a few of his considerable season-highs?
Be A Better You
Always wanted to live vicariously through your favorite Major Leaguer? Dreamed of becoming David Wright? Until the day that you can get a "Freaky Friday" role reversal with the third baseman, this is about as close as you can get. Experience all the blood, sweat and passion of being a pro ballplayer, just, you know, without all the blood and sweat. It's a win-win.
Sorry, Lorde, But We Can Be Royals
The game is not all about home runs though. You can use any strategy you want in the quest for victory - like playing as the Royals and bunting endlessly.
Pass the Torch at Short
For many baseball fans, R.B.I. Baseball 15 will be the first baseball video game in their lifetime not featuring Derek Jeter as the Yankees' shortstop. And since the game has all the updated rosters, you'll be able to honor The Captain's legacy by hitting .300 with the man filling his custom cleats -- Didi Gregorius -- and leading the Yanks to a 28th Commissioner's Trophy.
And if Jeter decides that he'd rather be playing baseball instead of managing The Player's Tribune, don't worry -- R.B.I. Baseball 15's updated rosters will make sure you can show the proper Re2pect.
