Red Sox 3B coach uses Todd Frazier's jersey mic to wish granddaughter happy b-day

Most kids get to bring cupcakes to school on their birthdays and, if they're lucky, get serenaded by the staff of a chain restaurant with some kind of lava cake in tow. For Madison McGlinn's special day, though, she got an awesome on-air shoutout from her "Grampy," also known as Red Sox third base coach Brian Butterfield. 

The Red Sox were taking on the Reds in some Interleague action on Tuesday, which was Madison's seventh birthday. Butterfield knew that Reds third baseman Todd Frazier was mic'd up for the contest and talked into Frazier's jersey like their sting operation has gone awry and they need the Feds to kick down the door and save the day.

Really, though, he's just wishing his grandaughter a happy seventh birthday because life is nothing but rainbows and puppy dog kisses. The perks of having an awesome grandfather...
