Red Sox reporter makes awesome bare-handed catch
Red Sox reporter Gary Striewski made one heck of a defensive play (in both senses of the word) in Toronto on Tuesday when a foul ball entered the press area next to the away dugout.
The Sox and Blue Jays were all square at four runs apiece in the 10th inning when Will Middlebrooks popped a pitch up into foul territory. As multiple Jays race toward the spot, the ball crosses the barrier into the press area where Striewski reaches his left hand skyward and does his best impression of smalls from The Sandlot.

Impressive, kind of. Afterward, Striewski and his peers had a bit of fun with the moment.
