Red Sox turn 2-6-3-4-5-3 double play when Yanks try Little League play
Red Sox turn 2-6-3-4-5-3 double play on Yankees
With Mo'ne Davis and Little League World Series fever still in everyone's rearview, multiple Major League ballclubs have employed some tried-and-true Little League plays over the past week -- with varied success.
When the Mets had runners on first and third against the Phillies, they stole second to bait the throw and Eric Campbell managed to sneak across the plate. When the Yankees tried the same game against the Red Sox on Wednesday, they fell victim to the totally routine 2-6-3-4-5-3 double play.
Brett Gardner is on first and breaks for second. On the throw down, Derek Jeter begins to stray from third base. The Captain loiters too far and is thrown out by Jemile Weeks.

"A" for effort though, fellas. "A" for effort.
