Reggie Jackson stopped by the MLB.com offices, signed his own figurine on someone's desk and walked out

It was Jan. 22 and all was quiet at the MLB.com offices in New York City. Baseball season was still just under three weeks away, the temperature was dipping into the single digits and mascots were getting their tongues stuck to flag poles. And then, for about five minutes, January suddenly became October -- excuse me, Mr. October.
